With the use of powerful CAID (Computer Aided Industrial Design) software, detailed design engineering can run concurrently during styling and form development. Early on in the design, consideration is given to how the product will be manufactured, this element is referred to as DFMA (Design For Manufacture and Assembly), with the effect that efficient design and assembly elements can minimise costs incurred during manufacturing. Production drawings are generated directly from the 3-dimensional CAID models, giving you the confidence in the accuracy of the information and reducing time between model, drawings and quotation.
